Water Gallery was founded in the spring and summer of 2010 by three artists with an idea: Aaron Wiener, Helen Mirkil, and Brian H. Peterson. The idea was simple: create an artist-run commercial gallery with the mind-set and mission of a non-profit space. This gallery would not only serve as a focal point for art in the suburbs, it would be an integral part of the revitalization of Lansdale, and feature professionally-oriented work of the highest caliber as well as nurture emerging voices. Water Gallery currently has four apprentice members who benefit from critiques and mentoring from more experienced artists.
Events are held every first Friday in Lansdale. We are committed to the neighborhood and promoting community through art. Our gallery features unique one of a kind glass work, jewelry, paintings, photographs, and the occasional piece of clothing. Our artists are diverse in style and character guaranteeing a unique experience for all.
